Dog Backpack From CesarsWay.com

Dogs naturally have tendencies to do their “job”, whether it’s to hunt or to herd. Dogs love, and more importantly, need a job.

Naturally our family dogs can’t do what they are born to do by instinct, unless we live on a farm… So give them a job!

Cesar Milan has created this dog backpack to prevent your pet from getting bored, unfulfilled and acting out.

Comes in two sizes: Medium and Large
•Made of durable, hand-washable materials
•Open-top design for extra ventilation and comfort
•Saddlebag compartments for carrying personal items, like cell phones or keys
•A special pull-through slot for dispensing waste disposal bags
•A removable shoulder strap for carrying or hanging when not in use

Here is Cesar Milan explaining the backpack!

On your next walk put this backpack on your dog and you’ll be impressed with the improvement to their behavior. They’re focused on walking and carrying, rather than chasing the rabbit, biting the leash or jumping.

The backpack also adds great exercise for your dog. Put some lightweight objects (water-bottle, even sand) in the backpack and you’ll appreciate the extra exercise it accomplishes.

Learning To Be Calm And Assertive As A Pack Leader

Posted by on Jun 10, 2013 in Affiliate Info, Content, Leader of the Pack | 0 comments

Lead your pack, or behavior problems will develop!

There’s a great article at CesarsWay.com about the actual “how-to” of becoming calm and assertive around your dog. But first I want to point out some interesting information about “why” you need to learn this basic Leader of the Pack posture.

Puppies are guided through their first few weeks of life by their mother, who asserts her dominance about every single aspect of life, but does it in a very calm manner. That’s what the puppy now expects and associates with “how-to-behave”. Everything that matters in life is learned from the leader and the leader is the one who demonstrates with calm assertiveness that they are in charge! Think Mom!

And just like in any “pack”, if there’s no leadership, the vacuum gets filled by whoever’s willing to step up. That’s what happens with your dog. If it appears that no one is in charge, they try to fill the gap, no matter how unqualified. This is the source of behavior issues and if you learn to demonstrate your own calm assertiveness and mean it, those problems can be erased.

So what’s the recommendation for learning this act of leadership? Cesar says to use your imagination! What character, real or fictional, inspires confidence in you? Now imagine how that person would project. There’s more detail in the article, including which character someone imagined in order to bring her own dog around to calm obedience!
